Accessibility statement
LiveSlide.Pro targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the product, and Level AAA for colour contrast on the participant intake page. We have not yet completed an independent audit; where we fall short we say so here rather than claim otherwise. Our goal is that every participant can submit their input and every presenter can run a session, regardless of disability.
What we do
- Color contrast meets AAA targets (7:1 for body text, 4.5:1 for large text and UI components).
- Keyboard navigation across every interactive element with a visible 3px focus ring.
- Touch targets for primary controls are at least 44×44 pixels; secondary controls such as inline help buttons are at least 24×24 with a 44×44 activation area.
- Semantic HTML with correct heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA only when native HTML is insufficient.
- Form labels on every input, with descriptive help text and error identification.
- Skip-to-content link on every page.
- Reduced-motion support — animations respect the OS-level preference.
- Dark mode support that respects user preference.
- Status announcements via
role="status"andaria-livefor live updates.
Known issues
Embedded Google Slides decks (when revealed live) inherit Google's accessibility properties, which are outside our control. We provide a static HTML deck preview as a fully accessible alternative.
