Terms of service

1. The service

LiveSlide.Pro is a tool that helps presenters run live, adaptive workshops. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to run illegal, harmful, harassing, or deceptive workshops.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to access the service in ways outside the documented APIs.
  • Submit content you do not have rights to use.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or fraud detection.

4. Participant content

As a presenter, you are responsible for ensuring your participants have given informed consent. We provide a default consent message that you can edit for your jurisdiction. Our privacy policy describes what we collect from participants, how long we keep it, and who processes it on our behalf.

5. AI-generated content

Slides and resource packs are generated by AI from participant input. You are responsible for reviewing them before showing them on stage. We are not responsible for inaccurate, off-topic, or inappropriate AI output, and we give no warranty that generated content is fit for a particular audience or purpose.

6. Pricing and billing

Creating an account requires no payment details. Current prices, plan allowances, trials, education discounts, and one-time bump packs are listed on our pricing page, which forms part of these terms. If we change the price or the allowances of a paid subscription you already hold, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you may cancel before then.

Founding Beta rate

Eligible accounts on the Founding Beta plan are billed $29 per month for as long as they remain continuously subscribed to that plan. Cancelling, switching plans, or a lapse for non-payment ends that eligibility. The rate covers the Founding Beta plan as we currently offer it, and it does not extend to future products or successor plans. We may retire or rename the plan on at least 60 days' email notice, after which you may cancel or move to a current plan at the price then offered for it.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans renew monthly or annually, as selected at checkout, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the billing period you are in. Where an account has no payment method on file, we will email you at least 14 days before the first charge.

Refunds

You may request a full refund of your first subscription charge on a plan within 14 days of that charge by emailing legal@liveslide.pro. This covers subscription charges. One-time bump packs and custom enterprise invoices are excluded unless we agree otherwise in writing. Any mandatory rights you hold under consumer law, including statutory withdrawal rights, continue to apply.

Allowances and overage

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of sessions and a monthly allowance of participants. We email a usage warning at approximately 80% and 100% of each one. Reaching the session allowance stops you creating new sessions until the period rolls over or you add capacity. Reaching the participant allowance stops nothing, and a workshop already under way is never interrupted because of an allowance.

Under the plans we currently offer, we do not bill automatically for usage beyond your allowance. Extra capacity comes only from a bump pack you choose to buy, or from an upgrade. Bump packs apply to the billing period in which you buy them and expire when it ends. Should we introduce a different billing model later, it will apply to new purchases, or to your existing plan only after the change notice described above.

7. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from the dashboard. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email presenters at least 30 days before the change takes effect, so you can cancel before then if you disagree.
