Privacy policy

This policy describes how LiveSlide.Pro ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our service. We aim for the lowest-friction privacy practices we can while still running a useful product.

1. What we collect

Presenters (account holders)

  • Email address, name, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile basics.
  • OAuth tokens for Google Slides and Google Drive (encrypted at rest, refresh-only when needed).
  • Session content you create: titles, audience hints, learning outcomes, voice notes.

Participants (workshop attendees)

  • Display name (first name or nickname is fine).
  • Optional: email address, role/title, learning goal, biggest challenge, experience level.
  • A SHA-256 hash of your IP address combined with our app key (we do not store the raw IP).
  • Browser user-agent string (truncated to 255 characters).

2. How we use it

  • To generate a personalized slide for you in the live workshop.
  • To analyze the room as a whole and recommend agenda adjustments to the presenter.
  • To produce a personalized follow-up resource pack accessible via your unique URL.
  • To improve the service via aggregated, anonymized analytics.

3. Third parties

We share specific data with the following processors:

  • Anthropic — your submission text is sent to Claude to generate slide content. Anthropic does not retain prompts for training when called via the API.
  • Google — for presenters who connect Google, we use the Slides and Drive APIs to build the deck.
  • Stripe — for paid plans, payment data is processed by Stripe (we never see card details).
  • Email delivery — transactional email via SMTP. We use the minimum data needed.

4. Retention

Participant submissions and AI-generated content are anonymized 30 days after the session ends, by default. Presenters can adjust or trigger anonymization sooner from session settings.

Audit logs are retained for 12 months. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be kept indefinitely.

5. Your rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of your data (presenter or participant).
  • Ask us to delete your data sooner than the default retention.
  • Withdraw consent (note: this will cause your slide and follow-up pack to be removed).

6. Children

LiveSlide.Pro is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Updates

We will update this page when our practices change and notify presenters by email for material changes.
