Privacy policy

This policy describes how LiveSlide.Pro ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our service. We aim for the lowest-friction privacy practices we can while still running a useful product.

1. What we collect

Presenters (account holders)

  • Email address, name, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile basics: name, email and profile picture.
  • Google access tokens, only if you connect Google. Google is optional: decks present in the browser without it. With Google connected, the tokens let us create and update Google Slides files in your Drive when you copy a deck to Google Slides or run a session set to build a Google Slides file. We request the drive.file scope, which covers only files our app creates. The tokens are encrypted in our database with AES-256-GCM, used only for those Google Slides files, and deleted when you disconnect Google from your Account page.
  • Session content you create: titles, audience hints, learning outcomes, voice notes, and any reference page you ask us to read.
  • Security records: sign-in times, a hashed IP address, and your browser's user-agent string.

People who contact us

  • The name, email address and message you send through the contact form, plus the optional event date and audience size.

Participants (workshop attendees)

  • Required: a display name (first name or nickname is fine), what you want to get out of the session, and your consent to take part.
  • Optional: experience level, role or title, and your biggest challenge.
  • Email address, only when the presenter has turned that question on, and only if you choose to give it.
  • A SHA-256 hash of your IP address combined with our app key (we do not store the raw IP).
  • Browser user-agent string (truncated to 255 characters).

2. How we use it

  • To generate a personalized slide for you in the live workshop. The presenter's deck presents in a web browser, and only signed-in members of the presenter's workspace can open it.
  • To analyze the room as a whole and recommend agenda adjustments to the presenter.
  • To produce a personalized follow-up resource pack accessible via your unique URL.
  • To improve the service via aggregated, anonymized analytics.

3. Third parties

We share specific data with the following processors:

  • OpenAI — participant submissions and session details are sent through OpenAI's commercial API to write slide content. Under those API terms, inputs are not used to train its models.
  • Google — only for presenters who connect Google, and only when they copy a deck to Google Slides or run a session set to build a Google Slides file. We then use the Slides and Drive APIs to create that file in the presenter's own Drive. Those files stay private to the presenter; when a teammate starts a build, we share that file with the teammate by email. Our public forms also use Google reCAPTCHA to keep out bots.
  • PayPal — for paid plans and top-up packs, PayPal processes the payment. We receive the subscription or order status and never see card or bank details.
  • Email delivery — account and service email is sent through our SMTP provider with only the data each message needs.

PowerPoint downloads, offline copies, and PDFs are made by the presenter's browser and our own servers, with no additional third party.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. Retention

Participant submissions and the AI content written for each participant are anonymized 30 days after the session ends. Presenters can delete a session at any time, which erases its participant responses straight away.

Presenter accounts and their sessions are kept while the account is open. The browser deck is built from the session's stored content, so it follows the same anonymization schedule. Google Slides files live in your own Google Drive, where you control them. Google tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect Google.

Copies a presenter takes. PowerPoint files, offline copies, PDFs, and Google Slides copies include attendee names and goals. Once saved, they sit outside LiveSlide.Pro, under the presenter's control, and our anonymization cannot reach them. Presenters should store them carefully, share them only with people who need them, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Security audit records (sign-ins, billing and settings changes) and contact-form messages are kept while they are needed to run the service and answer you. Ask us and we will delete them sooner where the law allows. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be kept indefinitely.

5. Your rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of your data (presenter or participant).
  • Ask us to delete your data sooner than the default retention.
  • Withdraw consent (note: this will cause your slide and follow-up pack to be removed).

6. Children

LiveSlide.Pro is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Updates

We will update this page when our practices change and notify presenters by email for material changes.
